This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions to the MyQCart POS Services and should be read alongside our Terms of Service.
This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions to the MyQCart POS Services and should be read alongside our Terms of Service. MyQCart™ is a trading name of ORVIK GROUP LTD (Company Registration No. 17333890), a private company registered in England and Wales.
This Refund Policy is primarily intended for business customers using the MyQCart Services, without prejudice to any applicable consumer rights.
1. Free Trial
- New Clients receive a 14-day free trial starting from the date their account is activated.
- During the trial, you may cancel at any time at no cost by contacting support@myqcart.com or, where available, through your MyQCart account settings.
- No payment is taken during the trial period unless you choose to subscribe before it ends.
2. After the Trial Ends
- If you choose to continue using the Services after your free trial, your selected subscription will commence and the applicable subscription fee will become payable. Thereafter, subscriptions remain valid only for the agreed subscription term and do not renew automatically unless you actively purchase a new subscription.
- Fees charged after the trial period has ended are non-refundable, except as described in Section 3 below or as required by applicable law.
3. Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in circumstances such as:
- A verified billing error on our part (e.g., duplicate charge).
- A payment processing error caused by MyQCart.
- Extended, unresolved service outage attributable to MyQCart, as further described in our Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Where required by applicable consumer protection law.
Requests for refunds under this section should be sent to support@myqcart.com with your account details and the reason for the request. We aim to review requests on a case-by-case basis and respond within 5 business days.
4. Cancellations
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will prevent any future charges once the current subscription term expires. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of the current subscription unless stated in Section 3 or required by law.
- Since subscriptions do not renew automatically (see Terms of Service, Section 5), no action is required to prevent renewal beyond your current term — access simply ends unless you actively purchase a new subscription.
5. Downgrades and Plan Changes
Where you downgrade to a lower-priced plan mid-term, any credit or proration will be applied in accordance with the terms displayed at the time of the change, if applicable.
6. Data Export Following Cancellation
Following cancellation or expiry of your subscription, you may request an export of your data during the applicable data retention period described in our Privacy Policy. After this period, your data may be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. To request a data export, contact support@myqcart.com.
7. Governing Law
This Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and should be read together with the MyQCart Terms of Service.
